Three and a half months after my little booboo boy landed, the big has finally arrived! He is officially in God's Crew! Yes indeed, he made the cut. I love the sacrament of baptism...representing our little ones. It is refreshing to commit yourself to God. We were Very fortunate to have my Uncle Deacon Jesse Avila bring our little Q into God's world. The ceremony took place at St. Anthony's in Fresno and a "Carne Asada took place later that afternoon. This day was really special for me, as we had family present to celebrate both Q's induction and my father's 70th Birthday! Happy Birthday Dad! For me, it was the coolest thing to be able to to give my father his Q and to have them celebrate together. Aside of the "Fire" weather, the drinks were cold, the Asada/Chili Verde was tasty, and the conversation seemed to just flow!
The Ceremony: Q was very calm. He never cried...he just napped, until the water came a flowing. He looked angelic! His momma was breatheless and extremely proud of the little "Gent." Big thanks to his Nino Erik and Nina Francesca for giving him love and guiding him in the right direction.
The Big Day!!!
What is going to happen?
OHHH!!! My Hair!
The Little Family QUAD-H
My Nonna...besitos
As we approach the two year mark, tons has happened...talking, sprinting in unknown directions, and besitos, besitos, besitos! Vale is growing so fast and learning something new everyday! At this moment she is all about the "Pio, Pio, Pio" and calling me...TAAAMMM! Man she lights up my heart like the moment I met her mother! I love her to death and Thank God everyday for her, her brother, and her lovely mother. I often think back to the days when I was single and in the dating game. The things I looked for...honesty, sincerity, a big heart, and someone that would make a great mother. I think I hit the jackpot...4 for 4! She is a great mother and I love to watch that connection that she has with the little ones.
MAD RESPECT!!!!!
